There
are various ways in which you can help with Operation Santa! We have
volunteers doing everything from purchasing toys to wrapping presents!
Below we've listed a few ways in which people have helped in the
past! Please Contact us for more information!
Adopt a Child
Adopting a child is one of the most helpful things you can do to help Operation Santa! If you contact us and let us know how many children you might like to adopt, and an age range you prefer- we will email or call you back with the name, age, and interests of children from the Shelter and Outreach Program. We try our very hardest to get items that the children ask for on their Wish Lists! You don't even have to wrap the gifts, for we do that at the Baking/Wrapping Party in mid December!
Donate Stuffed Animals
We accept new
stuffed animals of all shapes, sizes, and species! At the
Baking/Wrapping Party, a few of our volunteers will name the animals,
and give them a personal story that goes along with their child!
Please note that the stuffed animals must be brand new, and please
leave the tag on them. (If we receive an abundance, we donate the
remaining animals to another local charity called Adam's Animals which
takes stuffed animals into hospitals. Several of the high schools also
run drives each year!
Women Items
This is an area where we always need a lot of help. At the Outreach Party, we like to give the women a canvas bag filled with goodies including shampoo, body wash, perfume, make-up, mirrors, etc.. At the shelter we like to provide them with a warm bathrobe and a bath set. If you would like to help with this area, we may ask you to donate anywhere from 20-30 of one small item, or purchase a bathrobe of the needed size.
Santa Party
Since Operation Santa consists of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a few elves- the family will also attend events and personal parties! All we ask is for a small donation to Hope's Door or toy donations from your party guests! But please book us early because Santa's calendar fills up fast in December!
