"Sometimes playing dress up is just as fun for adults as it is for kids,

especially for Plano residents Alan, Kim, and Casey Struble."

-Plano Profile

Operation Santa is an organization started by the Struble Family to support Hope’s Door during the Holiday Season.  Operation Santa collects toys, stuffed animals, woman’s items and donations for the Shelter and Outreach Program. For 25 years, Operation Santa has been able to provide desired gifts and stuffed animals to the women and children of Hope’s Door at Christmas time!  Operation Santa operates solely from donations from the community and help from volunteers. We are involved in several events to raise awareness and funds for the shelter including the Annual “Date with Santa.”  We also hold our own Baking and Wrapping Party for people to come and lend a hand with wrapping gifts or baking cookies for the shelter.  We’ve started several toy and stuffed animal drives at the local high schools, and new organizations call to help each year.  Without these services, the families and children might not have a Christmas. This is an enormous task, and we seek all the help we can get from the community.
